Resources for Professional Dog Walkers

Everything here is written for the person actually holding the leash at noon, not for a marketing department writing about pets.

The Midday Route is our magazine for working American dog walkers, and this page is the shortest path into it. You will find long form guides on stool scoring and potty notes, pavement temperature thresholds, leash and doorway failures, group versus solo economics, worker classification and what actually happens after a bite on a public sidewalk.

Alongside the writing there are two free calculators and a fill in incident report template you can keep in the glove box. Nothing here requires a LeashReport account. Use what helps, print what you need, and send us the questions we have not answered yet from your own route.

About

Who writes all of this

About the walker behind LeashReport: who writes The Midday Route, the routes and potty logs these guides come from, and how to reach us with a question from your own midday book.

About the author

Keep the guides, then look at the report

The field guides, the two calculators and the walk incident report template stay free and stay outside any account. When you are tired of retyping owner updates in a stairwell between stops, a short demo shows how the route line, the photo cards and the potty log get built for you and sent on their own. Bring one dog from your midday book and we will use that one.
