The subscription rulesTerms of service for LeashReport
Last updated March 2, 2026. These terms apply to the LeashReport software and to leashreport.com.
1. Acceptance
By creating a LeashReport account, by using the mobile app on a walk, or by sending a request through the form on this site, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and of the business you represent. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. The person who opens the account confirms that they are authorized to bind that business.
2. What the service is
LeashReport is walk reporting software for professional dog walkers and pet care companies. It records a GPS trace of a walk, collects photographs taken by the walker, stores one tap potty entries and handling notes, keeps key, gate and alarm instructions on the visit card, assigns visits to walkers, and delivers a finished report to the animal's owner by text message and email. Plan limits on walker seats, history length and export formats are described on the pricing section of the home page.
The service is a record keeping and communication tool. It is not a veterinary service, it does not diagnose, and it does not supervise your walkers. Care decisions, staffing decisions and compliance with local leash, licensing and insurance rules remain entirely yours.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and operating a business to hold an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping sign in credentials confidential, and for everything done under your account by your walkers. Tell us promptly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com if you believe an account has been used without your permission, and we will help you close the door.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to record anyone without a lawful basis, to photograph the inside of a client home beyond what the client has asked for, to harass an owner or a competitor, to break into the system or another customer's records, to resell access without a written agreement, or to run automated requests that degrade the service for others. Photographs uploaded must relate to the animal in your care. We may suspend an account that puts other customers, animals or the platform at risk, and we will tell you why in writing.
5. Subscription, prices and billing
Three plans are offered, each billed monthly in United States dollars: Solo Walker at $19 per month for a single walker seat, Small Team at $49 per month for up to five walker seats, and Pet Company at $99 per month for up to twenty walker seats. Prices exclude any sales tax or VAT that may apply to your location, which is shown before the charge is made.
Billing runs on the calendar day you subscribed, each month, until you cancel. Walks, clients, photographs and report deliveries are unlimited on every plan, so your invoice does not move with the season. If you add seats beyond your plan limit, the plan moves up and the new price applies from the following billing date without backdating. Failed payments are retried, and if a payment cannot be collected after fourteen days the account moves to read only until it is settled, with your data intact.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the account page. The subscription then stops at the end of the billing period already paid for, with no notice period, no cancellation fee and no obligation to speak to anyone. Partial months are not refunded, except where a mandatory consumer law says otherwise. Before your final day you can export every report as a PDF pack and every record as a CSV file. Data belonging to a cancelled account is deleted 30 days after the account closes, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
7. Your data
Route traces, photographs, potty entries, client records and everything else you or your walkers create in the service belong to your business. MLJ, SASU stores and processes that content only to run the service for you, to back it up, and to provide support when you ask for it. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train machine learning models. Owners receive a private report link limited to their own animal, and that link expires with your plan history window.
Personal data collected through this website is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep LeashReport available at all times and we monitor the report delivery path continuously, because a report that does not arrive costs you a client relationship. Maintenance that requires downtime is announced in advance and scheduled outside United States midday walking hours where possible. Support is provided by email at the address in these terms, normally answered the same business day.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided as it stands and as it is available. To the extent permitted by law, MLJ, SASU makes no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose, and gives no warranty over the accuracy of a GPS trace produced by a handset in poor signal conditions. Mandatory statutory warranties that cannot be excluded remain in force.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of MLJ, SASU under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. MLJ, SASU is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost clients, lost data where you had the ability to export it, or costs arising from a decision you made about an animal. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify MLJ, SASU against claims brought by a third party, including one of your clients or your walkers, that arise from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from content you upload, or from your failure to obtain the consents you need to photograph a property or an animal.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the product changes. A material change is announced by email to account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the new version is published on this page with its date. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms. If you do not, cancel before the effective date and export your records.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France. Where you are a consumer resident elsewhere, the mandatory protections of your local law continue to apply to you.
